HYDRA - Analysis of potential problems

A large number of physical problems can be described by potential problems and thus be classified as Laplace's (DH=0) or Poisson's (DH=q) differential equations. These consist of e.g. magnetic field problems, heat conduction problems and groundwater flow. HYDRA is specialized on the analysis of the last two problems, although it can also handle other problems of this type. These models are applied in the field of geology, hydrology, soil engineering and water management. The ground water analysis problems can be divided into different subgroups, for which the engineer has to check the meaning of each individual case beforehand.
